Eso es lo que dicen las madres de las lentejas no?
Bueno, menos la mía, que es más chula que un ocho y tiene otra versión: Si quieres las comes y si no….también!Y es que las pobrecillas tienen muy mala prensa.
A pesar de la cantidad de nutrientes que tienen (son una fuente importante de fibra, proteínas, vitaminas y minerales como potasio, fósforo, magnesio, hierro…) yo sé de alguno que preferiría comerse medio kilo de tornillos, para tomar hierro, que un plato de lentejas.
Pero ya veréis que estas lentejas están tan buenas que no os va a costar nada comerlas.
Para mí la clave es hacer primero un sofrito y rehogar en él las lentejas, lo que le da un gusto muy rico y le quita un poco el sabor a…lenteja.
Y es que como dice un amigo, las lentejas, como las de la madre de cada uno, ningunas. Y, aunque yo las preparo como me enseño ella, las suyas siguen siendo mejores (será el amor de madre que las hace más ricas ;-D )
Aprovechad a prepararlas ahora que todavía apetecen platos de cuchareo, que ya llegarán los calores que te dejan “atorrijao” y sólo con ganas de cosas fresquitas…

Ingredientes (Para 2 personas):
200 gr. de lentejas
60 gramos de chorizo
½ cebolla mediana
1 tomate ( ó 2 cucharadas de salsa de tomate)
2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
1 hoja de laurel
