Estoy muy disgustada…
Creo que mi lavadora está a punto de pasar a mejor vida.
Últimamente deja la ropa fatal. Sí,sí, cada vez sale más pequeña…
Ya digo que lleva así una temporada, concretamente desde que empecé con el blog, así que estoy empezando a pensar que el problema no es que mi ropa esté encogiendo, sino que hay algo que está empezando a ensanchar…
Así que llegados a este punto he tomado la dura decisión de abandonar los dulces durante una temporada.
O por lo menos intentarlo!!!
Así que hoy toca receta salada.
Vamos a preparar un salmorejo para chuparse los dedos. Por si alguien no lo conoce, se trata de una crema fría, elaborada principalmente a base de tomate, pan y aceite de oliva, muy típica de Córdoba.
Yo podría comerlo por toneladas, aunque creo que eso tampoco sería bueno para el problema de mi lavadora, ejem…
Ya que los ingredientes son pocos, creo que es importante que estos sean de calidad.
En el caso de los tomates es importante utilizar la variedad adecuada. A ver, que no quiero que suene repípi, pero seguro que todos conocemos distintos tipos de tomate, como por ejemplo el raf, de pera, kumato, cherry…y los de plástico!!!
Sí, esos diabólicos tomates de aspecto tentador, que te prometen un interior jugoso y de sabor intenso, y que cuando por fín los muerdes…¡zas! Plástico pero del bueno!!
Así que ya sabéis, de la variedad que queráis pero maduritos y con sabor.
En cuanto al aceite de oliva, en esta ocasión he utilizado DourOliva , un aceite de mi tierra elaborado por unos grandes amigos. Que sí, que en Zamora también tenemos aceite!
Se produce en Fermoselle, en plenos Arribes del Duero, una zona que si no conocéis, merece la pena visitar.
Tiene una producción muy cuidada, además de un sabor intenso que le aporta un toque delicioso al salmorejo.
Y con respecto al ajo, a mí me gusta que se note, bueno, que lo notes tú, no todos los que te rodean, durante el resto del día, no sé si me entendéis…

Salmorejo
Ingredientes:
1 kg. de tomates maduros
200 gr. de pan del día anterior
250 ml. de aceite de oliva
Sal
Un chorrito de vinagre
1 diente de ajo
Para el acompañamiento:
1 huevo cocido
Un poquito de jamón
Pues yo te animo con las recetas saladas… Que buena pinta!
