Hoy me vais a permitir que aproveche esta humilde página para pedir el justo reconocimiento que merece un colectivo que muy pocas veces es tenido en cuenta.
Realizan una gran labor social, acompañada en muchas ocasiones de cierto sufrimiento y, a pesar de ello son los grandes olvidados.
Me refiero, como habréis podido sospechar, a la familia de los blogueros gastronómicos.
Si alguno de vosotros pertenece a este colectivo, estará sin duda de acuerdo conmigo.
Aunque visto desde fuera, tener un bloguero gastronómico en casa sea un chollo (en cuanto la gente se entera, el primer comentario que sale de su boca suele ser un «joé macho, qué suerte, te pondrás morao!!!»), los que tienen que padecernos en casa no están tan seguros de que les haya tocado la lotería, solo les ha caído «el gordo», por aquello de los kilos de más que con seguridad empezarán a acumular…
Y es que los blogueros no respetamos nada.
No tenemos consideración con los familiares a régimen, ni sabemos qué es eso de la operación bikini, ni mantenemos el merecido descanso culinario tras fechas como la Navidad.
¡Qué va!
Nosotros nos dedicamos a cebar al personal, sin ningún tipo de miramientos.
Es más, si tu hermano trae a casa a su novia por primera vez, mientras le das dos besos, no estás viendo a la persona que compartirá su vida con tu hermano, sino una nueva victima a la que poder engordar…
¡Coñe, que te acabas sintiendo como la bruja de «Hansel y Gretel»!!
Y es que no solo se trata de que te líes a preparar comida a todas horas, es que además no los dejas comer tranquilos!!
Si se sienten observados mientras comen, desde luego es con razón, porque no les quitas ojo de encima, para observar sus reacciones, y además los acribillas a preguntas:
-¿Que, qué te parece?
– ¿Está bueno?
–¿Y de sal como anda?
–¿Pero se nota el toque de tomillo limonero?
–Uy, a lo mejor le tenía que haber puesto mejor un poquito de hierba luisa, que parece que le pega más…¿Tú qué opinas?
Y a tu pobre victima se le termina indigestando la comida, por buena que esté, ante el acoso al que se ve sometido.
Lo peor de todo, es que a veces se verá obligado a comer lo mismo durante varios días seguidos, ya sea porque la sesión de fotos no ha quedado tan bien como a ti te gustaría, o porque el plato en sí no termina de estar a tu gusto.
Si se trata de las fotos, podemos decir que es un problema menor, ya que solo se trata de repetirlas, pero ¡ay amigo si se trata de la receta! Te puedes pasar una semana comiendo lo mismo hasta que el bloguero dé con la receta perfecta!!
Eso sí, sin olvidarse de rellenar el pertinente formulario tras cada comida para comprobar qué receta es la que tiene más éxito, aunque el invitado ya no se acuerde del matiz exacto que tenía el tartar del otro día con respecto al actual…
Vamos que la respuesta a tu pregunta de cuál esta mejor, si el de hoy o el de ayer, puede acabar siendo un «yo que sé Mari, pues muy ricos los dos. Venga que hace mucho calor y quiero dormir un ratito la siesta…»
Eso sí, todo sacrificio tiene su recompensa, y una vez que el bloguero encuentre «su receta perfecta», la familia y amigos van a poder disfrutar del mejor estofado del mundo, o el mejor bizcocho, o como en este caso, los polos de frambuesa y ron más refrescantes y sabrosos de la galaxia!!!
Aunque los pobrecitos míos han tenido que comer ya tantos que igual los tienen aborrecidos…
Preparación:
Comenzamos preparando el almíbar, ya que necesitamos que esté frío a la hora de añadirlo a los polos.
Para ello ponemos en un cazo el agua y el azúcar y lo ponemos al fuego, removiendo de vez en cuando hasta que se disuelva el azúcar. Lo dejamos que hierva, y una vez que comience a hervir, bajamos el fuego y dejamos hervir un par de minutos más.
Retiramos del fuego y dejamos que se enfríe.
A continuación trituramos las frambuesas hasta obtener un puré que pasamos por el chino, o por un colador, para eliminar las pepitas.
Una vez que tengamos el puré de frambuesas colado, lo mezclamos con el zumo de lima, el ron y el almíbar ya frío.
Mezclamos hasta integrar bien todos los ingredientes, rellenamos el molde para polos y llevamos al congelador durante un mínimo de 12 horas.
¡¡Y a disfrutarlos!!
Notas
Si no tenemos moldes para polos, nos servirán perfectamente unos vasos de plástico de usar y tirar.
Podemos sustituir las frambuesas por fresas.
Para ayudarnos a desmoldar los polos, bastará con pasar los laterales de los moldes por agua tibia.
