Tarta de ciruelas

Con la llegada del otoño, hace su aparición en la meseta castellana, el «Salvajamones de morro largo» o Gorrón Ibérico

Al olor de las primeras cosechas, el Salvajamones, dotado de un excelente olfato, abandona su hábitat natural, la fría urbe, y se adentra en terrenos más rurales, la zona denominada  «pa´l pueblo» , acompañado de su hembra y las crías.

Una vez ubicado en el pueblo, el Salvajamones arrasa con las recientes cosechas, llevándose a su paso, una ingente cantidad de frutas y verduras, así como huevos caseros, setas, si la zona es propicia a ellas, y en los casos más extremos, un par de pollos de corral que el Salvajamones destinará al alimento de sus crías.
La segunda migración de esta especie a las zonas rurales se produce justo después de las denominadas matanzas.

Una de las características principales del Salvajamones, es su inconfundible graznido, la repetición de la frase «Mira Mari que tomatazos más hermosos…. Estos en el Carrefúr no los encuentras, eh?». 

Si lo oye proferir dicho canto, no lo dude, se encuentra ante un ejemplar de morro largo.

Yo sí.

No estoy orgullosa de ello, pero tengo una vena Salvajamones, así que cuando vamos al pueblo, solemos venir cargados, especialmente en estas fechas.
Pero he de decir en mi defensa, que las cosas de allí saben más ricas!!!
Y como una de las últimas veces traje un cargamento de ciruelas importante, rescaté unas cuantas para preparar esta tarta, que , como lleva una base de hojaldre comprado (es que de este no lo había casero en el pueblo…) no se tarda en preparar más de 25 minutos, horneado incluido.

Y qué os voy a contar, pues que está absolutamente deliciosa, y conquistó hasta a los menos forofos de las ciruelas. 
Por supuesto, podéis prepararla con ciruelas compradas, si vuestra parte Salvajamones no está tan desarrollada como en mi caso, pero ya os digo que como las ciruelas del pueblo ninguna.

Vamos a por la receta!!

Precalentamos el horno a 200º.
Lavamos las ciruelas, las cortamos a la mitad, si son pequeñas, o en cuartos si son más grandes, y las deshuesamos.
Forramos la bandeja del horno con papel de hornear, extendemos sobre el la plancha de hojaldre y 
la pinchamos varias veces con un tenedor para que no se hinche durante la cocción.
Espolvoreamos la cucharada de Maizena sobre el hojaldre y colocamos las ciruelas con la piel hacia arriba, hasta aproximadamente 5 cm del borde.
Una vez que las hemos colocado, doblamos el borde del hojaldre por encima de las ciruelas. Esto servirá para sujetar la fruta, ya que no vamos a usar molde.
Espolvoreamos el azúcar por encima de la tarta y la metemos al horno, en posición media durante 15 minutos aproximadamente, hasta que veamos que el hojaldre está dorado.
La cucharada de Maizena que espolvoreamos sobre el hojalde tiene como función absorber el agua que sueltan las ciruelas y que nos ablandaría el hojaldre. 
El azúcar podéis usar la que prefiráis, morena o blanquilla. 
Si utilizamos hojaldre congelado debemos descongelarlo con antelación.

    I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.     Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
